In Memoriam
The Trustees of the Education Foundation of Bridgewater-Raritan would like to pay tribute to two important contributors to our organization who passed away during the pandemic of 2020-2021. We appreciate the contributions of Louis Arvanitis and Al Gabrielski and mourn the loss to our community and their families.
Louis Arvanitis
Louis Arvanitis was the owner of the esteemed Martinsville Deli along with his wife Aspassia. Louis Arvanitis also served as the Past Supreme Governor and Regional Director of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association).
Al Gabrielski
Al Gabrielski was a Trustee and the Director of Public Relations for the Education Foundation of Bridgewater-Raritan from 2002 to 2005. He was a talented realtor and a proud life-long resident of Bridgewater. He put the needs of others first in our community and contributed to multiple organizations in addition to ours.
The generosity and wisdom these men shared with our community have left a lasting legacy.
